Messaging Architecture Katas (Hands-on Lab, Main Conference)
by Alexander Langer

(This is a hands-on lab with limited capacity. You should receive an invitation to sign up for your favourite session at latest one week before the conference. Capacity of this session = 28)

Have you ever wondered how you can guarantee unique invoice numbers in your aggregates?
Or whether you may update multiple aggregates in one database transaction?
Then this hand-on is for you!

Together we will solve some common problems using messages, aggregates and sagas. We will then simulate our solutions using real actors and messages. This shall aid you in making the necessary mindshift from "traditional" strongly consistent applications to an eventual-consistent, message-driven architecture.

The hands-on will be technology oblivious, so bring a pen!
