Database Fundamentals for Event Sourced Systems (Talk, Main Conference)

Event sourcing requires a small yet uncommon set of primitives from the database being used for storage.

In this talk, we'll go back to the first principles of event sourcing and look at why each of these requirements exists, how (and if!) it can be satisfied by systems commonly in use today, and where it makes sense to relax the constraints.
